The First Urban Music Site with Multi-Media Capabilities Designed in 1999

Our head Web Designer Troy Alexander designed http://www.rapscene.com/ which is one of the most popular Hip Hop Sites online launhed in 1999 the same year Google was found. It was selected by the Nationally distributed Book The Indie Bible in 2001 as one of the Top 100 Best Websites for Music. At that time Record Companies did not have websites and they all went to Rapscene.com to promote their Recording Artists. As years went on then came myspace and youtube. Recording Artists and Record Companies started building their own websites and using these Platforms as well. Along came facebook and twitter for ultimate social netowrking. Xander Design re-designed http://www.rapscene.com/ in Jan 2010. Rapscene still remains one of the most popular Hip Hop and RnB websites. Rap Music is the biggest selling genre of music and Rapscene has a piece of the real estate online. However this website does not just promote hip hop but all genres of music and keeps their website fresh and classy. No disrespect to other Hip Hop sites that have become more popular than Rapscene.com but to be quite honest, some of them look a absolute mess!
